MS-227 PVG JOULE’S CALORIMETER WOODEN

Ideal for students for determination of the specific heat capacity of as
liquid by the electrical method. Comprises a copper calorimeter vessel
100×75mm lagged and enclosed within an outer wooden polished
box of dimension 9.5×9.5×11.5 cm. A close fitting bakelite lid is
provided with a wire stirrer and a pair of 4 mm socket terminals
connected to a resistance coil or constantan wire heating coil mounted
at the underside so as to be positioned sufficiently inside inner vessel.
Coil resistance is approx. 6 ohms and to be used with a current of 0.5 A With a maximum of 1 A. Supplied without thermometer.
