  • GOLD LEAF ELECTROSCOPE A scientific instrument used to assess the presence of electrical charges on a body is known as an Electroscope. A gold-leaf electroscope is electroscope that consists of gold leaves and is used for detecting the electrical charge of the body. Strongly constructed ,powder coated, sheet metal walls of the electroscope and  are mounted on a plastic base. Front glass window slides up to allow insertion of ionizing material in chamber. Transparent scale is attached inside chamber to measure the deflection of the gold leaf. When a charged object touches the electroscope's brass disc, the electric charge gets transferred to the gold leaves through the rod. This results in the gold leaves moving away from each other as like charges repel each other. The movement of the leaves shows the presence of charges in a body. The gold leaves return to their normal position after some time. This happens because they lose their charge after a while. This process is called electrical discharge. The charges in the gold leaves would also be discharged when someone touches the brass rod with empty hands. In that case, the charges are transported to the earth through the human body. MA-20 ROCK SET

MA-22 SET OF 45 ROCKS PVG INTERNATIONAL’Soffers excellent collection of Rocks,Minerals and ores used as teaching aid for beginers or in advance stage of studies. Collection of 45 Rocks in Wooden Box with 45 Big Specimen Set of Rock Igneous ,Sedimentaryand Metamorphic Rock with 15 specimens as the representative of each type of rock. Igneous rocks which are formed when magma or lava cools and solidifies. gneous rocks are fire-born, meaning that they are formed from the cooling and solidification of molten (melted) rock. Sedimentary rocks are formed from the accumulation of weathered rock fragments, organic matter, or minerals in layers. These layers are then compacted and cemented together to form rock. Metamorphic rocks are formed when igneous and sedimentary rocks are subjected to high temperatures and pressures, causing them to change form. Common sedimentary rocks include sandstone, limestone, and shale. These rocks often start as sediments carried in rivers and deposited in lakes and oceans. When buried, the sediments lose water and become cemented to form rock. This is an ideal collection for the Study of Earth Stones for Geologists, educationists to teach students and for classroom use for all earth science studies. This rock collection for classrooms is the perfect educational tool to help engage students in a hands-on way. Clearly labelled and affixed to sturdy cardboard  or wooden backing with polished wooden box having front glass.
