Conventional electrostatic generator, capable of producing sparks
up to 80 mm. Acrylic revolving disc of 300 mm. diameter with 30
radial aluminum foil segments, driven in opposite directions by a
hand cranked belt and pulley system, neutralizing bars with
replaceable tinsel tapes can be adjusted for optimum results.
Collecting combs carried on a large, horizontal insulating beam,
together with the adjustable spark gap arms with 15 mm. diameter
spheres and long insulating handles. A pair of leyden jars.
Complete apparatus mounted on a sunmica clad wooden base
board fitted with rubber feet.
