SIEVES
A sieve, fine mesh strainer, or sift, is a tool used for separating wanted elements from unwanted material or for controlling the particle size distribution of a sample, using a screen such as a woven mesh or net or perforated sheet material.
Sieves are used in research and development, environmental monitoring, and quality control. Specific applications include sieving soil samples in the construction industry, separating particles in chemical and pharmaceutical processes and measuring the particle size distribution in food production.
The sieving process involves passing a material through a mesh or other device with an opening size of less than the material’s particle size. The particles will either pass through to the other side, be caught in the mesh, or be deflected according to the shape of the opening.
PVG’S Test Sieves are of High quality ,accurate, made of brass & stainless steel material to ensure durability. Our range of sieves are in the category of laboratory and quality control test sieves.
Our Brass and Galvanised Sieves are in Diameter of 200 and 300 mm and stainless steel Sieves in 200, 300 and 600 mm diameter.
Can be used individual or can be stacked with lid and receiver.
These our Test sieve as per ASTM/BSS.
