MS-428 AEPINUS CONDENSER
Usefull Apparatus for teachers to explain the students the principles of Thermostatics in Physics Laboratories.
Designed to investigate the strength of charge between two adjustable brass plates
The Aepinus Condenser is an early type of variable capacitor. A capacitor is a device used to store electric charge. The capacitor (or condenser) accumulates opposite electrical charges on its plates.
Demonstrates the relative resistance between conductors and non-conductors and The use of various materials intersected between the two metal plate conductors.
Apparatus consist of a pair of adjustable circular metal discs of diameter 100mm attached to the insulated handles and is supported on insulated pillars mounted vertically on a wooden base. Another pillar has a clamp for holding glass dielectric plate between the metal discs. The glass plate may be replaced by plate of other material to study the effect of dielectric. End of insulating handles of metals discs carry a 4mm socket for electrical connection.
