With four decade resistance unit’s, total resistance 11110 ohms;
constantan wire coils with laminated phosphor bronze brushes.
Ratio arms consist of four coils each to provide ratios of 0.001,
0.01, 0.1, 10, 100 and 1000; ratios selected by two rotatable
switches; with an inbuilt pointer galvanometer and a 4.5 V dry
battery but terminals and a switch on control panel allow an
external more sensitive galvanometer and a higher battery to be
used. Also fitted with terminals for connection of unknown
resistances. Overall accuracy ± 0.1%. In teak box with hinged lid
and metal panel. Dimensions : 325 x 250 x 125 mm.
