MS-180 PVG BOYLE’S LAW APPARATUS

This apparatus is for demonstration the volume of air enclosed in
the column. Comprises a vertical glass tube of wide bore mounted
on side of scale graduated 0- 60 cm. fitted on wooden base having
plastic feet. This glass tube is connected to cylinder metal reservoir
by a pressure tubing and stopcock. Reservoir is connected to dual2 2
scale pressure gauze reading 0 – 4.2 kg/cm and 0 – 60 lb/in above
and side to a riffled inlet with stopcock for connection to foot
pump. As the pressure in the oil reservoir increases, colored oil is
forced into the glass tube and volume of the contained air and its
actual (total) pressure are noticed. Size of base 235 x 145 mm.
Overall height of apparatus 750 mm. Supplied without oil.
